What are zoning risks and what is required to receive approval?
We have had preliminary planning meetings with both the county planning staff and County Commissioner Aaronson. We received favorable opinions from both parties. The CCRC is allowed under current zoning, thus only requiring site plan approval. We will also need to obtain adjacent neighborhood approval. The project team will meet with neighbors during the design process to seek their input. We have kept neighbor concerns in mind by using large setbacks, and lower building heights near the perimeter.
