What are your view toward the theory “jesus in india”?

I know only a very little about it. If I recall, these are ideas that when Jesus was in his teens and twenties, he traveled to India. Some stories state that he learned Buddhism at a temple in the mountains. Some state he was a merchant traveling with Joseph of Aramithea (sp). I think it IS possible. Take the Bible as an example. In the OT (prior to Jesus), God was seen as a Vengeful God. Complete devotion and submission was required. In the NT (After and during Jesus), the messages were of love and compassion. God is seen as a loving being with only our best interests in mind. I believe it is possible that Jesus learned, at the very least, the core of the Buddhist teachings. Love, compassion, empathy, etc. This is merely an assumption. At that time there was no other religion from that region that had the same values.
