What are your thoughts / opinion on “t.v. psychics” [like Sylvia Browne]?
Well, I think that psychics whom make a profit off of a “gift” like that are frauds. However, my Aunt is a physic tarot card reader and palmist, and she does not charge, just helps. I believe she is a true psychic. It’s quite a confusing argument, there is plenty evidence that being psychic is real, but also plenty evidence against.
I think they are incredibly clever people – picking up on slight subtleties and a ‘best-guess’ based on circumstances. I also believe that the spirits of passed ones live on within the people and places that made them who they are. These subtle energies can survive for many years, while the substance which holds them is whole and relatively undisturbed. I reckon psychics can pick up on these energies and construct messages based on the facts of the past – even if not conciously known by tjhose visiting the psychic.
