What are your thoughts on WBA Champion Juan Diaz and WBO Champion Acelino Freitas?
I would beat Diaz and Freitas. Diaz hasn’t fought anybody and it doesn’t seem like theyre trying to match him up tough. Don’t get me wrong, I think he’s a good fighter, but there comes a point when you have to test yourself. I did. I lost to Castillo but there is no shame in losing to Castillo. If you want the big money fights, you have to take chances and fight the elite fighters. What usually ends up happening is if you keep fighting these so-called easy fights, you usually end up losing to one of them for small money. What about Freitas? I’ve sparred with Freitas before and we were actually supposed to fight but he got an opportunity to fight Zahir Raheem for a title, so I can’t blame him for taking that fight instead. I would love to fight Freitas. I would beat him for sure. Quiles has been waiting 17 years for this title shot and says he is going to give you all he has to win that title, are you concerned that he might try and hit and run his way to a decision?
