What are your plans for WPP Marketing Communications (WPP MC) in India in terms of structure and leadership talent?
A. We have kept the structure (of WPP Marketing Communications) very flat and lean to enable the operating teams to be proactive, nimble and provide quality service to clients. WPP MC has three operating units – MindShare, Fulcrum and Maximize. Fulcrum continues to be a dedicated unit for Unilever Central Asia. MindShare and Maximize work independently for different clients across the five cities. However, all three units tap into central resources based on clients’ needs. The central units are: CIU (Central Investment Unit), which provides benchmarking and group negotiations; BroadMind – the specialist unit for non-traditional communication channels and content management (cross-platform deals, advertising-funded content / barter / syndication, events, films and music tie-ups / co-promotions); ATG (Advanced Techniques Group) and MCI (Media Consumer Insights) – for proprietary tools and research, customised econometric modelling projects, bespoke research for clients; WPP Outdoor – thr
