What are your feelings about outdoor play without direct supervision (i.e., the child is outside and the caregiver is in the house with a younger child)?

Not so much. The younger child can almost always be outside too, in a Bjorn, stroller, or playpen, unless she/he is napping, in which case the caregiver ideally has a walkie talkie connected to the younger child’s room so as too best monitor the needs of all children.
