I have been traveling internationally with my children since they were each 2 months old (now 7 and 5) and here are some tips that I found work. I advise that you put them in a CRS. A child safety device is an airline-approved alternative to using a hard-backed seat and is approved for use on aircraft and for use in motor vehicles.
