What are your 3 favourite Songs by the Worlds most successful Pop Group ABBA?
My utmost favorite is song one of the guys sings! ‘Does Your Mother Know?’… I don’t think there’s ever been a ‘better-written’ POP SONG in all of pop history! And that’s saying alot about a band who created many of the greatest ones themselves 🙂 My 2nd favorite is ‘Fernando’. Absolutely breath-taking! 3rd favorite is ‘Waterloo’. Whatever all that ‘chaos’ going on in the background is – it makes the song AWESOME! 🙂 My least favorite is by-far ‘Dancing Queen’. I know it’s their biggest-selling single (i think) and most people’s favorite. I just never got that one though. I never ‘felt’ it and I think that’s because it was their ‘disco’ song and not at all like most of their other stuff. I understand that every band HAD to do at least one disco song back then this, imho, was one of the weakest disco songs. However, I do acknowledge that is NOT what the rest of the world believes…LOL!
