What are you thoughts on Inheritance Tax?
Professionally – It is entirely unfair, as many people with great wealth are able to afford tax advisors who can avoid it, whilst those with a mediocre estate fall foul of the legislation. It is also used stealthily in this country, as house prices (usually the bulk of an estate) are rising much faster than the nil rate band is being increased. Personally – couldn’t give a shit. Don’t plan on having kids and even if I do (accidentally) they can earn their own fucking money.
