What are you going to be when you grow up?
To start, I’m 48 years old.
When I grow up I’m going to be getting my PhD in Psychology and help veterans who are coming back from the horrors of war, or the sadness of losing a loved one with their trauma.
I think that there is never enough done to help our service men and women. The Military is left holding the bag and doing all the dirty work that politicians refuse to resolve in a reasonable manner and they deserve the very best we can offer.
I hope that I can be the very best and assist these valiant men and women to get past the distress they may be feeling from watching a friend die on the battlefield, or losing a loved one to distance.
What about you?
I am graduating college in a year. I am supposed to have that all figured out by now, right? Well, when I grow up I would like to make a name for myself. I would like to be successful, and impressive. I would like to earn a comfortable living, and start a family. I would like to support the ones I love, and I would like the ones I love to be there for me. I would like to make more friends. I wouldn’t mind finding some people I could count on. When I grow up, I hope I won’t still have to wonder what I will be when I grow up.
