What are you favourite three places to eat in Gulf Air destinations?
Bangkok is my favourite destination. I always feel at home there. I try to go to local places rather than fancy hotel restaurants as the big places tend to be too European and I prefer more authentic food. I really like Soi 5 (93 Sukhumvit Soi 5, Sukhumvit Road, Wattana, +66 255 5451), which is a seafood restaurant. Frankfurt is my second favourite destination as it reminds me most of home. There’s a great fusion restaurant called M in Wiesbaden (49 Taunusstraße, +49 61 1204 8765, www.mrestaurant.de). It has a really lovely atmosphere. My other favourite is Al-Arisha (Um Al-Hassam Avenue, +973 1772 5414), here in Bahrain. It’s a wonderful Lebanese restaurant in a private villa.
