(Last updated: 04/21/2004) Back to top Xbox Live Now XBL Now is a FREE upgrade to the Xbox Live dashboard software (what you see when you choose Xbox Live from the Xbox dashboard) that will allow you to many cool things: • See if your friends are online and what they are playing • Chat with friends (outside of any game) • Check your game statistics • Issue challenges (I want to challenge XboxBoy to a 9PM MechAssault game, etc.) • See scheduled games (leagues or personal challenges) • Find out if DLC is available for games you own • …??? XBL Now is not a web browser for the Xbox. It is just an update to the XBL software on your Xbox (call it XBL 2.0 if you want).
