You local volunteer center can help you find the volunteer activity that best matches your interests and meets the community needs. They also specialize in finding worthwhile service projects for volunteers. http://www.unitedway.org All of these resources can help you find one-time, short-term, or long-term volunteer opportunities, and connect you with other non-profit agencies that can benefit from your help.
