What are Willett Wonders?
A. Acts of good citizenship on the part of students are acknowledged by awarding them a Willett Wonder certificate. Half the certificate goes into a container in the office; the other half is sent home so that students can share their “good deed” with their families. At the end of each trimester, one name from each grade (1-6) is drawn from the container in the office. Mrs. Kirklin hosts a lunch for this group of six students. This validates the students’ good citizenship efforts and also gives Mrs. Kirklin a pleasant “kid fix” and a way to show appreciation to our students.
