What are western values?
Western values differed slightly from country to country, but had a strong basis in the Judeo-Christian ethic until recently: 1)Ten Commandments 2) Golden Rule (do unto others as you would HAVE them do unto you) 3)respect for women and care for children 4)appeal to the law rather than take things in your own hands 5) loyalty to country over regional ties 6)honest work, and decent pay and conditions 7) the expectation that the government is a servant not a master and that it is there to ease the life of the community, not to burden it.
