What are weblogs and blogs?
The terms weblog and blog are used interchangeably. A weblog is a type of online diary or journal run by special software that is updated often. It points to articles elsewhere on the web (often with comments) and to on-site articles. Weblogs enable people without much web experience to create, format, and post diary-like entries with ease. In a community, bloggers often refer and link to other bloggers, with interesting and often unanticipated outcomes.
