A new study shows that the average household income of US Weekly readers exceeds that of the average Vanity Fair devotee. And not surprisingly, Real Simple’s average household income (a whopping $92,662 per annum) puts it in the “highest echelon of high-demographic publications,” outranked only by Fortune and The Wall Street Journal. Or maybe its numbers are padded by the fact that every doctor’s office in the country subscribes, keeping waiting rooms well-stocked with trashy, feckless gossip. I guess it keeps you from getting angry about the state of health insurance or something.
