What are we going to be hit with for athletic fields?
The staff is working on some alternative approaches to the development of athletic fields that should substantially lower the price tag. As indicated at the supplementary budget presentation with the town of Hanover on September 13, the administration at the town is open to assisting us in executing any plan we can develop, and this might reduce the cost for new fields considerably. After the bond vote we will be surveying the community to determine the next steps on the fields issue. The results from that survey will help the next “fields committee” and the board decide how and when to proceed with this issue.
