What Are Water Aquifers?

0

They are underground water sources running through permeable layers of rock, gravel, etc.. The water can be accessed via the drilling/digging of wells. Sometimes these sources will flow near the surface and form into pools or springs. These may be permanent or may only occur during times of heaving rain or snow melt somewhere further up in elevation.
