A. Vocational rehabilitation benefits are being phased out in California because of a law passed in 2003. However, if you were injured on the job before Jan. 1, 2004, and are permanently unable to do your usual job, and your employer does not offer other work, you may still qualify for vocational rehabilitation benefits.
