What are verbs and adjectives?
Verbs are commonly known as “action” words. They’re something you do, have done, or is done to you. Adjectives are modifiers, which help describe the noun that follows them. For example, in the sentence “we saw the old bus go up the big hill,” your verbs are “saw” and “go” because they’re being done, while “old” and “big” are the adjectives, as they describe the bus and the hill.
