These are hex based numbers programmed into the eeprom of your device that our Driver will look for when it installs to support your device. The default numbers (USB 2.0 for example, host controller IDs NEC VID 1033 or Intel M/B VID 8086) can not be used. You tell us the VID and DID on the custom software authorization and usually your engineer can help you obtain these numbers.
