What are vectors/vector art?
What sets aside vectors from normal images are mostly the way they’re created. Vectors are basically math, lines from point A to point B with X degrees bend to them. They are created in programs such as Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand. An image done in Photoshop is by default not a vector image. Filtering a photo so it looks vectorish is that also by default not a vector image. I urge you to check out the ‘Indy Art > Vector’ category to see examples of the genre.
