What are vector graphics? How do they differ from raster graphics?
Vector graphics are a collection of lines, points, shapes, and curves. A graphic artist will design a logo using a vector graphics program so that the logo can be enlarged or reduced without loss of quality. In contrast, raster graphics are an array of pixels. A photo is a good example. Learn more about vector graphics HERE or raster graphics HERE. If you are submitting artwork to be printed, vector graphics are preferred.
