USB Memory Keys are small storage devices that are about the size of a 25 cent pack of gum. The Memory Key has a USB connector that you plug into you computer or laptop and is usually protected with a small removable cap that has a key chain hole in it. They basically act like a portable hard drive or very large floppy drive that you can store any files on for easy transportation. Simply plug the Memory Key into your computer’s USB port, and you have an instant storage device that appears as another drive letter in Windows Explorer. How much information will they hold? USB Memory Keys come in several different storage capacities that increase in price as the storage limit increases. The most common sizes that you can currently purchase are 64 Megabytes (MB), 128MB, and 256MB, although you can now find them in 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB sizes.
