What are Unlimited Domestic Upgrades?
Unlimited Domestic Upgrades are automatic and complimentary upgrades for our Mileage Plus® elite members. We recognize how much you value the privileges your elite membership brings, and have listened to your feedback about simplifying your travel experience. We’ll automatically request Unlimited Domestic Upgrades on behalf of all elite members traveling on or after March 19, 2010, within the continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America. That means no more forgetting to apply your certificates and no more checking to see that you have enough miles – we’ll take care of it! We’ll also request an upgrade for up to one companion traveling on the same reservation.
