What are universities and managerial departments doing to develop the European Area of Higher Education?
Today, both the Management and Institutes of Higher Education in Spain have immersed themselves in the process of adapting their degree titles to the Bologna Process.For this reason, the Ministry of Education and Science has already prepared legal documents that regulate the key aspects of this process: the European System of Credits and Qualifications and the European Degree Title Supplement. This also includes the restructuring of current university courses – the aim of which is to enable the new credit system to be merged into official graduate and postgraduate programs. Pilot documents are likewise being produced to enhance degree titles. These are being developed by the ANECA network of Spanish Universities. The aim is to research and propose a degree title that is geared towards the European Area of Higher Education (EEES) and that serves as a model for Spanish universities.
