What are unaccredited law schools?
These are law schools that do not meet the requirements of the ABA. They could be lacking in quality of faculty, library resources, or finances. They are real law schools but by attending them, a student would not be able to take another state’s bar exam or practice in another state without first going to a law school in that state. These law schools typically exist to train lawyers who plan to stay in one place and often work full-time jobs. The penalty for going to one of these schools could be severe if you plan to move sometime during your career.
