What are typical use cases for LPS?
While we have designed the technology for specific purposes, we continue to be surprised and impressed by the ways our customers are using our technology. We intended LPS-Public to be a way to check out the capabilities of LPS by connecting to the public internet, including using a CAC-enabled web browser. LPS-Remote Access was designed to be given to the network support staff for an organization to allow remote use of their specific network. It can be customized to block access to the internet except if accessed from inside the corporate network, and can have additional applications loaded. LPS is not intended to be a desktop replacement system. We have had users request custom builds containing a full range of corporate software. If the primary use case is to run a system containing all common office software, then the user should request a standard desktop build computer from their organization.
