The following table is intended to show average scan times. Your system may perform slower or faster as a result of the system configuration or other applications that may be running simultaneously. The Setting that affects the scanning speed the most is the Parallel Port Mode. We recommend setting the Parallel Port Mode to ECP or EPP. The Parallel Port Mode is set through the PC BIOS setup. Consult your computer vendor for instructions for changing this setting.
