What are typical prices for a female pomeranian dog in the US?
The price of all pedigree dogs is determined by their blood line, how many champions on both sides of the family, etc. Poor quality dogs have few or not champions in the blood line and are culls…and may come with genetic diseases you do not want to get involved with. Good breeders limit the number of pups per year per *****, provide lots of training and care space, aclimate the pups to living conditions, and usually make you sign papers that you will raise the dog with certain conditions. For this kind of dog, expect to pay big bucks. And there are only certain colors that are acceptable in all pedigree lines…make sure your dog conforms to the standard for that line…otherwise, you are paying money for something you could get at the pound.
