What are Trust Doctor (Registrar) posts?

0

Trust Doctor (Registrar) posts are fixed term appointments for up to a maximum of 2 years based within one Trust (however doctors could rotate between sites). Trust Doctor (Registrar) posts advertised by the Wales Deanery will have Deanery approval but not PMETB approval. Trust Doctor (Registrars) will be encouraged to gain competencies in line with the relevant specialty curricula and will be eligible for CPD overseen by the relevant Training Committee. Competencies achieved in these posts should be included within the doctor’s portfolio for future applications to PMETB for a CESR.
