What are Tree Preservation Orders (TPO’s) and do I need one?
TPO’s may be required on some trees, before starting any tree surgery work it is important you are aware of whether a TPO is required and that this is process prior to the commencement of any work. Please note: It is a legal requirement if one is required and if you do not apply for a TPO you may be prosecuted if any work is carried out. This may sound worrying to some people but don’t worry the information is available from your local council or we can find out for you.
