What are “To the Sky”, “See the Children”, and “Ariel”?
“To the Sky” is an un-released track from the Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me recording sessions. It can be found on the ‘Stranger than Fiction’ compilation, as well as on a couple of bootlegs. Although it was never released, it has been found on all-time modern rock countdown lists, and a remix was made of the song (the resurrection mix). “See the Children” is an early Easy Cure demo that can be found on the ‘Easy Cure Demos’ bootleg. “Ariel” is a song that was recorded in 1982 and played on the Kid Jensen show. It is available on the ‘Fading Roots’, ‘Invasion of the Body-Snatchers’, and ‘Studio Daze’ bootlegs. Robert has mentioned that the song will be officially released “someday”.
