What are tips to ensure I only use three rounds of revisions?
There are many tips to make the collaboration process as easy as possible on both sides. First, we have to make sure we conduct a good design brief so we meet your expectations in the initial concept. Then use your three rounds wisely and efficiently. 1. Bring in the end decision maker as soon as possible and keep them involved. 2. Don’t show the design to everyone asking them to give you changes. People usually feel obligated to change something just for the sake of change which is never good. However DO get initial input from as many people as you need and give us those ideas. We will try to incorporate them in the FIRST design concept. Keep the actual revision and collaboration process to 1 or 2 people. Otherwise the design gets compromised and watered down trying to please everyone. Committees are notorious at destroying strong designs. 3.
