What are Three of the major outcomes from World War 2?
There are just too many major outcomes of the war to list 1-2-3, but I will give it a try. I think the dropping of the atomic bomb is probably at or near the top. It opened the door to a new era of military power, the possibilities for it to be an source for energy, plus it ended a brutal war that could have dragged on and ended with a land assault using conventional weapons. That would have had disastorous consequences regardless of the outcome. The second major outcome, I think, is the partitioning of Europe. East central Europe became the flashpoint for East -West disharmony for nearly half a century. The reconstruction, the intrigue and the politicking that went on during that time defined the foreign policies of every major power in the world.
