Like .zip, they are compressed file formats: .rar files are WinRAR format, and .a* files are ARJ format files– please read our download instruction above for information on where you can get appropriate archiver programs to extract the files. Please note that WinZip does not extract ARJ files automatically, unless you install ARJ as a helper program.
