Thermisors are the standard resistors that is used to measure and regulate the temprature. It is used as controlling device in various electronics products like microwaves,toasters,kettler, thermistats. It also used to shut down the items that unnecessarily overheat.

If a fault develops with the motor during running, the motor temp will increase and cause the resistance of the thermistor to change.
