I lived with 2 of my wives without being married for a couple of years before we married. . For some, living together without being married brings on guilt. The Bible speaks of marriage as the only time for sexual intercourse. Society expects marriage between couples living together, though this is becoming a little less customary. If you attend church together, you’re likely to feel uncomfortable if living together without marriage. You’ll wonder if others think your morals a little loose. And children, if you have them, may resent being called bastards. And you’re likely to feel guilty about that. Consciences have a place in society.
