What are the writing requirements for graduation?

0

Every student must complete two writing intensive courses. One must be outside the School of Business and one must be within your major or concentration. It is usually a course that ends with a “Z”. Check your evaluation of transfer credits form and look for a “Z” “F” or “G” course. If no “Z” “F” or “G” course, it means that you will need to take two writing intensive courses at the University at Albany. Note: Your upper-level (usually your second writing course) writing course will be in your concentration if you are a Business Administration major and Acc 461Z if you are an Accounting major. A final grade of less than “C” in a writing-intensive course does not meet the writing intensive requirement.
