What are the write-in (People’s Choice) awards?
The write-in awards are just what the name implies: some specific award categories are determined solely by open ballot voting by the public and require no submissions. For 2011 the write-in ballot is open until January 31st, 2011, the end of the registration period. Voters in the first round will choose from the list generated during the registration period.
