What are the working languages of the EIB?
The two official working languages for the staff of the Bank are English and French. A very solid knowledge of one of these two languages is a must, and a working knowledge of the other is highly desirable. In practice, however, numerous languages are spoken in the day-to-day work, and proficiency in several languages of the European Union is an asset. The EIB provides access to language training for staff.
