What are the work strands?

The work strands are part of the way in which the programme overall is being managed. We have brought together professional services functions and processes in cognate groups (such as student services) for the purposes of looking at how they can best be organised in support of the new schools. They do not represent the structure of professional services for the new schools – just a sensible grouping for the purposes of examining now how services will best be delivered. Each strand has a professional service head and one or more SAM or TSM leading the work. Each strand is supported by a user reference group, which is made up of members of professional services and academic staff who provide ideas, feedback and advice on the models being developed. You can read more about the work strands.
