Hern Bay winters are just like winter anywhere else in Kent. Mind because its on the Eastern end of the Thames Estuary the salt in the air keeps the snow away (that’s if there is any snow as we have not had to much) Also with it being on the coast you have to take into consideration the wind chill factor, as it’s North Facing and right at the end of the Thames, meaning that there is nothing stopping the wind and if it blows from the North then its straight from the polar region so it can be lets say a little cold!
