[from Alistair Young] The words come from Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Murders in the Rue Morgue.” The complete line reads: “…The larger links of the chain run thus — Chantilly, Orion, Dr. Nichols, Epicurus, Stereotomy, the street stones, the fruiterer.” In the song, you hear the children’s voices echoing “Chantilly, Orion, Dr. Nichols, Epicurus” when the next word of the quote, “Stereotomy,” is shouted as the next track, “Stereotomy Two”, begins.
