What are the weather conditions in Oman?
The climate in Oman is changeable from geographical area or division, even during the well-defined seasons. Temperature variance between the coastal areas and the interior are conditioned by the humidity and off shore winds, again within a season. Summer is between April and August. Spring and autumn tend to be shorter periods. Rainfall is light and assigned to a particular place in many parts of the country, with the exception of the Dhofar Region, which enjoys light rains from June to September. As the “khareef” or monsoon season begins, the landscape around the southern city of Salalah, is almost magical transformed. The browns are replaced by rolling green hills, misty woods and sparkling mountain springs and waterfalls.
