What are the weather conditions for Miami Beach at the end of July, and beginning of August?
I would like to know what the conditions are like at Miami Beach in the end of July and beginning of August. I hear August is a hurricane month, so I would like to know if it’s okay to visit a hotel there. Also, could you please give me the average weather conditions for late July and early August, ie: rain storms, sunny days, etc. Thank you. A: It’s super hot & super humid. August is not the ideal time to visit Miami. Key West is better. The surrounding ocean keeps the temperature a good 10 degrees cooler than Miami throughout the Summer. Also, it’s a tropical climate which means that there are frequent brief showers. There may be a tropical downpour two or three times a day but the showers are over in minutes. Locals largely ignore them. To have an entire day ruined by weather is unusual and is caused largely by passing cold fronts in Spring and Late Summer/Fall and by the very rare (though always possible) hurricane.
