What are the ways to find jobs for indians in countries like Norway, Finland, Denmark or Russia?
The recession hasn’t hit Norway as hard as the rest of Europe. Unemployment is under 3% (but predicted to rise a little over the next year). There’s still plenty of work available in some fields like engineering, practical sciences, oil fields and healthcare. If you happen to work in one of those, it may be possible to find a company to sponsor you. Healthcare is only really possible if you speak a Scandinavian language, but it’s possible to find jobs in the other fields with English as a working language. If you don’t work in one of those fields, it’s a lot harder to get a job. Although unemployment is low in general, it’s much higher in jobs that require less education and skilled experience. A Scandinavian language will likely be required as well. The only reason it’s not in the other fields is because Norway is lacking highly skilled workers, so those careers tend to have an international workforce.
