What are the volunteer requirements?
• Parent/Guardian of 3 year old students work in the classroom 1 – 2 times per month. • Parent/Guardian of 4 year old students work in the classroom 2 – 3 times per month. • Each family is responsible for taking part in an annual “deep cleaning” of the school. This is done together as a whole class. • Mandatory attendance of five General Membership meetings per school year. • Holding a job specific to the organization. Some examples include scheduler, librarian, fundraising committee, and social committee. Members are also encouraged to volunteer as Board Members. • For the safety of our children, anyone working in the classroom must submit to a background check administered by the Michigan Family Independence Agency.
