What are the visiting hours for The Family Birthplace?

0

We realize that many friends and family members will want to visit at this joyful time. However, your birth experience may be tiring. For this reason, we encourage you to use your time in the hospital to rest and get to know your baby with minimal interruption. We do not limit visiting hours in Labor and Delivery; however, only two visitors may visit at one time. Once moved to the Mother/Baby unit, visitors are limited to two (plus the banded person) at one time until 11pm. One adult may stay the night, if the mother chooses.

We offer open visitation that allows visitors to come any time of the day or night. There is no restriction on the number or age of the visitors. However, we ask that all visitors wear special date-sensitive passes. Visitors must present picture ID to obtain these passes, and all passes must be returned when the visitors leave the hospital. Please note that the safety of mothers and their babies is our primary concern. Because of this, visitors occasionally may be requested to step outside of the room. For your privacy, no visitors are allowed to wait in the hallway; they must either be in the room or inside the designated waiting areas.

We do not limit visiting hours in LDR, however, only two visitors may visit at one time (plus the designated significant other). Once moved to the Mother/Baby unit, visitors are not limited until 9pm. At that time, one identified individual (plus the designated, banded person) may remain until 11pm. One adult may stay the night, if the mother chooses.
